Special guest appearence by Tavis Morrello on keyboards- first show with the Band since the St Patrick’s Day festival back in March. Also, at the show we will be selling our new disc “Lanigan-Shields” which just arrived last week.

Thanks to all that came out over the last month. We pulled off 15 gigs in thirty days. Our little Spring tour brought us to 3 states, many venues and always great audiences. Tom Lanigan will still be out there playing. Check the “gigs” area for upcoming dates.
Yes, the rumors are true: We are working towards a recording project that if it comes together would see a full length studio album sometime in the fall. Presently we are sorting out material for the untitled disc which will be recorded at Duck Kee Studios in North Carolina under the stewardship of Jerry Kee. We will keep you updated on its progress.

Click here to see our TV debut. We played on the “Sunday with Liz” show which aired on March 16th. Ignore the commercials at the beginning and go about 1:30 into the clip - there we are!

Tom Lanigan and Tom Shields of the Tom Lanigan Band will be opening the Wolfe Tones’ Derek Warfield show at Ri Ra’s in Providence, R.I. on Wednesday, March 12.
The boys were already besides themselves to see Mr Warfield and company and now to play at the show as well is truly unbelievable.

Thanks to all who came out in that nasty rain storm and filled up the Courthouse. It really made our day. Thanks to Damhsa, I wish I could of seen more. Apologies to Doug for having to pick up the green room after we left. Our only defense is one should not leave an Irish band an hour between sets- let alone in a room full of Guinness and well.. you know how it goes.
